SONY is inviting applications for a Speech Recognition Intern in Bangalore or Remote. This internship is ideal for freshers pursuing or completing a Master’s (Research) or Ph.D. in machine learning, deep learning, or related fields.
About the Role
As a Speech Recognition Intern, you will contribute to AI-driven speech recognition projects, collaborating closely with researchers and engineers to enhance model performance and efficiency. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in cutting-edge machine learning and speech technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the research team to design and refine speech recognition models.

Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have:
- Pursuing or completed Master’s (Research) or Ph.D. in ML/DL or related field.
- Hands-on experience with Transformer models for audio or speech.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell, PERL programming.
- Experience with Pytorch, Tensorflow, and API development (FastAPI).
- Understanding of speech technologies.
Good-to-Have:
- Advanced Pytorch expertise.
- Experience with Indian Languages ASR.
Internship Details
- Duration: 6 months, starting June 2nd week
- Timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Location: Remote / Bangalore
