Credit & Collections Senior Specialist — Hyderabad

Shift: Support Americas (9 AM–5 PM EST) — equivalent to ~6:30 PM–2:30 AM IST
Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented Collections, Cash Application, and Customer Service Specialist to manage accounts receivable, handle collections, apply incoming payments, and resolve customer inquiries. The role focuses on timely cash recovery, accurate payment posting, and strong customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned accounts and follow up on overdue invoices via phone and email.
- Negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes, and minimize bad debt.
- Apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) and resolve unidentified payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and collaborate with accounting and sales teams.
- Handle customer inquiries about invoices, payments, and account balances professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Up to 24 months experience in collections, cash application, or accounts receivable roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with accounting/ERP systems (Oracle, Workday or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
Preferred
- Experience in high-volume AR environments, GAAP understanding, familiarity with ERP and payment portals.
