Role Overview — Senior AR Caller
The Senior AR Caller plays an important role in medical coding and accounts-receivable related activities — accuracy, compliance and collaboration are key.
- Review clinical records, diagnoses, procedures and treatment plans to allocate correct ICD-10 codes.
- Apply CPT, HCPCS and related coding rules to ensure correct procedure and billing codes.
- Work closely with clinicians and documentation teams to clarify discrepancies and improve record quality.
- Maintain patient data confidentiality and follow HIPAA-like guidelines in daily operations.
- Meet defined productivity and quality benchmarks on a daily/weekly basis.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English (both written and verbal).
