Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for application and infrastructure-related issues; resolve or escalate appropriately.
- Troubleshoot common problems with Windows/Linux, networks, and web applications.
- Communicate with clients via email, chat, or phone to share updates and resolutions.
- Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for recurring incidents and document solutions.
- Maintain and improve the knowledge base for faster incident resolution.
- Participate in on-call rotations and work flexible shifts to support 24/7 operations.
Candidate Profile & Required Skills
- 0–2 years experience in IT support, system administration, or similar roles.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ADO, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Comfortable with Windows or Linux environments and common troubleshooting steps.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and web server awareness.
- Fundamental SQL knowledge (basic queries) and scripting (PowerShell) for automation.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience or understanding of virtualization (VMware, Docker).
- Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident management frameworks.
